The following script is going to talk about the story Christmas Sunshine and Storms by Elizabeth Gaskell. Also about my personal point of view on what I could analyze along the reading.
Also if and how citizenship and commitment are related to what the events on the reading were.
[1But first there are some important detalles that  have to be taken into account.
First the settings of the story , there is not specific place neither time. It just specifies that all the reading develops in the Victorian Era.

All the story is around the  fight the two families the Jenkins and the Hodgons that they both work in order to have a better quality of Life. They both work for different newspapers however they both are seeking for the best quality of life.
A very important aspecto of this society is that there is not citizenship because this people are all like mind settled with this thing that is if you don't have money you don't have a high status, like people would not treat you the same if you are not part of the mean of  politics or religion. That is my point of view on this aspect which is bad because I don't think people should judge someone by any circumstances or reasons and it's even worse if they do based on what the material things they have and not what is within them.

The middle of the story is where all the plot develops on a quarrel like mood because they are always fighting and bashing and hating each other , this is an antivalue that is intolerance that I don't support of the story. All this bad things happen between the wives.

The first thing is the fight Mrs Jenkins has with Mary H, because the cat that Mrs Jenkins owns are the food of Mary's Baby. Mary was so incredibly upset that she beat the cat to a point to almost killing it , she caused serious injuries to the cat, fact that pissed off very much to Mrs Jenkins. Making the hate to grow towards each other. Another thing is the Envy Mrs Jenkins had because of Mary's Baby because she could not get the chance to have the privilege to be a mom I think.

So where the sttort gets plot twisted is when Marya Baby gets ill of some respiratory disease and almost passes over but this was not happening because of Mrs Jenkins will to help Mary in this situation above all the things the bad things they had to pass through such as the time in the story Mary slammed her the door be ause she could not care less about what she was trying to say. So yes , finally she Mrs Jenkins we can say that she saved the life of the baby by running to look for boiling water so the baby could be alright, she did and the  baby was recovering from that  episode very efrctibeky. Then Mary was grateful about this , but she did not mention any of this to her.

Then the main event that leads to the moral of the story is when the day before Christmas Mary receives a gift from her mom where she gets her (Mary) some scented towels and a very emotional letter expressing her feelings about how much they (his dad too) miss them and specially in holidays when they had the greatest memories together.

So Mary at the end of the story makes the fist change and then the two families despite of every situation they got through were mature enough to solve what they had to solve and then the moral of this story is that you have to look out for the people that are loyal to you even when things get worse. And bad trust them.
